A.J. co-founded GoKart Labs in early 2009 with a vision to invent digital businesses, build products & marketing experiences and transform cultures with an eye on human centered design. Since GoKart’s inception, A.J. has been involved in the creation of several companies that have attracted over $15 million in investment capital including Sophia (www.sophia.org), an award-winning peer-to-peer education platform that was sold to Capella Education in 2012. Prior to GoKart, A.J. spent the first 15 years of his career in advertising and as the founder of one of the Twin City’s first digital design and development agencies. His experience spans a wide range of disciplines from media to creative to user experience & coding to leading disparate teams toward a common goal.
